Surely it will sit flush when closed as he's not moving the metal catch or owt? He's just 'spring-loading' the rubber bungs so it pops open better when the catch is released... | |

try unscrewing the rubber bungs to stop the boot slamming a wee bit. | |

Just fitted my boot pop - but tailgate getting stuck on safety catch on boot. |
