Na it's just a sod, and lots of cursing is required to tempt it out.

IF you disconnect it you need a non-PAS steering rack too ;) it's the way forward you know

Ensures a good seal, also make sure you clean off the mating surfaces, bit of towel and cellulose thinners wroks very well.

lol, it is aint it, i might be going back to 15's soon so i could possibly disconnect it, so whats the copper grease for, is it to stop the manifold welding itsself to the gasket etc

u can buy exhaust wrap for them, or just use the standard shield! ill be fitting mine aswell this week. the bolts on the head may be a pain in the arse to undo, soak them in wd40 for a bit to make it easier

You'll need a new head to manifold gasket, and the lower gasket that goes on the end of the manifold as they fall apart when you take the old one off. you should in theory get new studs and nuts to go with it, 13mm wrench is what is needed. headshealdig isn't really needed. good luck. oh let the engine be cold, and smear a little copper grease on both faces of new upper gasket and nothing on lower one looks like a ring.
