16"s

15"s for things like track day use and ultimate speed.

16"s, good middle, larger wheels, but still small enough to keep good pace.

17" + performance on a corsa, :lol: Nahh, dont wuite think so.

Best COMPROMISE as you asked, is 16" without a doubt.

i dont understand why you think 15 would handle better than 17 when you upgrade your wheels to bigger diameter your profile of the tyre comes down keeping the same overall diameter
