Also cheap pattern parts will not last long, ive heard of people on MIG getting through balljoints every 5K miles with the cheap ones :lol:

As in the other post Vauxhall Balljoint kits are £36+vat per side. I dont have play in mine but my handling is awfull, as brad says though big wheels and silly lowering dont make it easy to spot. I'd now recomend lowered corsa's get them changed at least every 3years, regardless of condition... Thats lowering for ya :(

cost me 260 for new outer cv joint and ball joint! with vaux!

Vaux want £120 to replace the lower ball joints. Had my car serviced today and i need mine replacing too :(

Put on the steeering lock, Jack the car up so the wheel is off the ground then feel for any play in the wheel.
If its the ball joints are going then there will be play in the 12-6 O'clock line, and if the wheel bearing is dying then you should feel play all the way round.
Charaqceristics of worn ball joints is sloppy handling.
