1800, water shouldn't be a problem as there should be no actual wires exposed to be affected. Besides, the location of it means its going to be difficult to get wet.

Corser, I'm not familiar with the Senator dash but guess they are pretty much all the same, 24 valve?

can ne one help me with my problem? ive got a digi dash out a senator - an idea im working on - but no transducer. how do i find out wich one i need? i no i should have got them from the same car but i didnt and ow im too late

Do the transducers stop working if they get wet. I went out driving yesterday and it was a bit wet, the speedo kept on displaying 0 and then the correct speed. I thought it was wiring, but all that was still intact properly at the transducer and on the dash... I though that as it does not have a rubber boot over it it may get wet and stop working... Anyone else have these probs???

Here you go, one pic of an Astra GTE speed sensor (transducer) I'll reply to the u2u later as mine is on a go slow at the moment..
