1800, water shouldn't be a problem as there should be no actual wires exposed to be affected. Besides, the location of it means its going to be difficult to get wet.

Do the transducers stop working if they get wet. I went out driving yesterday and it was a bit wet, the speedo kept on displaying 0 and then the correct speed. I thought it was wiring, but all that was still intact properly at the transducer and on the dash... I though that as it does not have a rubber boot over it it may get wet and stop working... Anyone else have these probs???
