would be good to see if people have exhauts and air filters etc to see if they effect fuel economy

i got a custom backbox n a k&n air filter with drilled box, from £20 i get around 150 - 175 miles although.... i put £15 in the other week n had nearly 200 miles :boggle: that was when the light was flashing too and the same garage i use all the time to re-fuel

I get just over 250 miles with 20 quid in my SXi. It's all motorway driving too, so sometimes depending on how much I want get home from work its less than 250 miles

Alot depends on how/where you drive. If you only do short trips it kills the fuel consumption, compared to longer journeys. Also driving styles affect how much fuel you use. Not neccesarily thrashing the car, but full throttling it makes a big difference to part throttling it.

To be honest it drank fuel when i got it , for standard it only did 275 miles for £30 Quid , now its gettin worse. im going to thrash it a bit tonight then i will report on my progress. if it keeps up i will have to get it chipped then set up properly on the rolling road , see if that helps. it does have a hard life being a rally slag :)

do u run it till the red light flashes, cos i can get about 15-20 more miles when red light comes on, i put £15 in and get about 95 miles, till red light comes on, then i drive for another 15-20 then i fill up as im scared it will run right dowm, shall i reset ecu cos i have got a backbbox and bfo cone

i found this with my 1.2 when i put my filter on it! id just stick to k&n panel filter and drilled air box! probably get more power that way aswell

could be your fuel management, but thats just a guess. try disconecting the battery for an hour and resetting the ecu
