Usually a problem if its been disturbed. If for example someones fitted a new pollen filter and not quite got everything fitted back together properly. | |

Did that on my Chevette too. Slowly rots the floor from the inside, until one day you have pedal power..flintstone stylee | |

Actually the holes a to allow air to flow into the pollen filter. Blocking that off slows the airflow in. | |

Take your scuttle off and take a look, it serves no purpose other than to drain water. Mines been blocked for 18 months, no smells, ventilation probs or anything. | |
