corsa c's have been known to have dodgy ignition barrels "well ive seen a few posts bout them"

it was abit weird when i jumped into my dads car, going down a country lane, middle of fooking no where and whole lights, everything just died (apart from the engine) :! i was looking around for bright lights in the sky :lol:

all the cars behind me thought i was fannying around :lol:

my dad had something similar on his audi, his spring went in his ignition barrel and it would cause all the electrics to go off, yet the engine would still run :lol: So he would have to keep turning the keys to get it all to come back on. If it happens again, try tapping the keys, turning them abit....might work :thumbs:

hello peeps, just went for a wee drive to take some photos.
on my way back home i encountered something that got me a lil worried.
basically i stopped at traffic lights and my car was running, but all the electrics just kept on flashing on and off :o

all the lights...
stereo...
heater etc

havent a clue whats going on, the car was still running...
anybody know whats happening here?
any help much appreciated :)
