nah aint got nuffin. So just to clarify my understanding. Black, pink and green are the wires linked to providing power. What are they then - pos, neg, ground? or wot?

How about you just lick the pink and green ones n see which one hurts :P (not really recommended tho)

nah. as i remember its got 7 wires. Black, pink, green which i believe are for the powering of the unit. Then 4 more wires for the speakers. (yellow, yellow with black stripe) and (orange, orange with black stripe).

iv tried turning it on obviously! reversing red and yellow? which are they, cos all the colours are fooked. That live and ground?

You need to actually turn the unit on first by pressing SRC or try reversing the red and yellow wires.

tried wiring a head unit , jvc one to a mini. Fink i fucked the power cables up a bit. Could work out which one went where. Anyways the cd player sort of worked, no display or nefing, only fing that works is wen u press eject for cd it lights up and does some shit, then gives up and turn off. Is this cos i fooked up the wiring or cos the head unit is bust?
