dont forget to check the condition of the distributor cap. Unclip it and look inside and the metal electrodes at the end. If they are dirty, or worn, either clean as much as you can or get a new one from halfords. | |

Damp HT/ignition leads mate. Happened to me once on the motorway too, almost crapped me pants! Had to pull over onto the hard shoulder to let the engine temp dry the fcukers out coz I couldnt restart the car. | |

u may just need a fuel flush there might be crap in ure injectors or the like | |

Sounds like damp in the ignition system, and dropping on to 3cyls. You have a dis pack or a Dizzy?? It's not likely to be water in the engine from the cone, less it's scrapping the ground! maybe time for a new dizzy/leads etc... | |
