quote: ITs a kildare reg kerry is ky Im from Dublin the car was imported form the uk and registered in Kildare Mirror Glaze cost about £25 a tin. Thing is youd get about 15 waxes out of that Not sure were to get it my brother is a fiberglass laminator and hes been using it for the last 10 years as a release wax to release whatever product he is making from its mould. I thought he was full of sh*t when he said to use it to wax the car but the pictures dont lie. What i did was used rubbing compound first to get any crap off the car(obviously washed it before that) Take the compound off Waxed the car a pannel at a time. used a roughish cloth(towel type matirial) to take the wax off then used a smooth cloth(an old teashirt) to shine it, kinda like shining a pair of shoes easy peasy really too around an hour to do:)

i stock both and have used both. IMO meguiars wins every time. Both products are very similiar but the wax finishes on the meguiars is much better. The shine will stay far longer.

with a black car your up for more work than a white one you will need swirl remover ,yellow wax and some quick detail to get off water marks if you want it look sharp all the time it took me 3 hrs to use swirl remover ,then showcar glaze ,then yellow wax but every one at work said how shinny it was and went out and bought the meguairs

All those who have used Meguiars will testify that it is way better than any other polish on the market apart from maybe Zymol.:)
