£80! as if lol they are 260 rrp but whats cheapest in companies like cel? £160? i was thinking of the 12" package £294 i think

Yeah 12" Type -r wud be good, i have a 10" type-s at the mo and its really good for a cheapo job.
Am getin a 12" JL W3V2 now tho, being powered with a MRD-M300 which i got off a m8 for £80!!

12" all round, if u put it in a slightly smaller enclosure it'l still punch hard,

my m5's are in 0.6 xubic feet an they rock

i paid 85 quid for my 10" type r from alpha car audio

got my mrd m300 off ebay new for £125

and got my type r components for 70 quid off a mate. but you can get em for 100 if you hunt around.

there is a very good link on migweb that has a list of cheap websites to get stuff from.

depends on budget, u can get some cheap as alpine an some cheap as rockford!!

look at ur budget an read reviews on kit which is around the same price to get a gd idea!!!

rockford, alpine, diamond, genesis, dls, pheonix gold etc an u wont really go wrong!!

so deffo alpine are as good as rockford?
i just read in max p, i was going for the RFP4212 DVC for £180? but it scored only 5.7 whereas the type R DVC socred a massive 9, outright winner, which leads me to this question, i think austin could gimme some advice

type r's are brilliant, i have a 10" type r sub and 17 cm type r components powered by an alpine monoblock amp.

very nice sound

type s are a cheaper range yes.

for sub and amps? i was thinking rockford, but reading some review alpine scored better, are the type R better than the type S subs? DVC? if not these what other makes would u go for?
