iv not adjusted mine, i have v6 brakesu p front, and lowered about 75mm. i stand on the brakes hard a fair bit due to doin loadsa motorway miles and there are plenty of ppl on motorways who seem to wanna piss u off, also tested it in a car park by standin on them in the rain, front locked up but not the back, maybe my rear brakes just dont work lol!

i have a wieght dependant valve not the lower engine'd pressure dependant type bias vale
ill adjust it as far as itll go
i have slammed on once and nearly took out a new focus and a mg cos i went sideways
its not as bad since i took it to the garage "warrenty" but i want to make sure that that dont happen again

oh the 1.2 8v's dont have a brake bias valve anyway so these people probs dont need to worry anyway

i fully adjusted mine, it was dangerous otherwise, obviously these guys have never had to slam the brakes on at motorway speed, or they would end up facing the wrong way

theres no picks in the max power book tho, it just tells you theres a way to do it!:boggle:

well mine tries to lock the back up as standard
and the guy that did my brakes says the bias valve never fails?? they adjusted them cleaned em an thats it it still tries to lock em up

so with lowering it 60mm im scared that they are gonna bite earlyer than the fronts :(

ive got the max p manual i just dont wanna be makeing up what looks to be a bodge job bracket

i didn't have any problem with them locking up, had a V6 conversion up front, so I think in a way that adjusted them for me

i didnt adjust mine either, the rears do lock up sometimes first thing in the morning at the end of my street but thats it. Get a max power haynes manual it shows you how to modify the valve in there
