how much are you looking at in getting your recess Flushed and filled by a bodyshop?

i did the pannel on a nova, same thing. And within 6months it has sagged as its too thin.

Ive heard of people filling the recess behind with that expanded foam stuff. but it still sagged.

Mite have to pay more for the plate weldded but its worth it, ive seen the difference, ill post pics soon.

the other way of doing is to get a body shop to do it by welding a plate over the recess then filling and smoothing, or do this urself, but costs more, but is probably worth it in the end if the panel is shit! this is what i am trying to find out tho if it is shit or not as i ordered one yesterday!!
cheers

what do u mean it will sag? it does seem a very cheap way of doing it!? surely if u fill the gap between the recess and the actual panel it would be ok??? :boggle:
cheers

dont bother with the smooth boot pannel, it'll last about 6months, then it will sagg into the car. its not worth it. trust me:thumbs:
