Is it just me but im on Kosei RG's 205-40-17 and the back sits nicely, but the front looks higher than me on a saturday night. Its a 1.2 8v so the engine is pretty light is that the main cause?

brad, guess what, my new 17s r dare X1s, and gmax full kit, think im just gonna change the front to 40mm, and see how the back is, then decide whether or not to change to 40mm on rear on stay at 60mm, cheers for the info matey

yeh i had this problem on my old corsa! i had dare x1's et45 with falken tyres with a low sidewall, had a 60mm gmax kit, the tyres were so tight in the arches, i cud only get bout 1/4 lock and no supsension, so i changed to 40mm kit, which sat them in nicely at the front and 60mm at the back! was nice and level all round

Mike you aint dropped 60mm if your tyre is touching, it would be approx 75mm drop. Are your bumpstops still alive? What brand of springs were you using?

right, friday about 2pm, 17s arrive, i had 15s before and its lowered 60mm, ive always sed my front end had gone much lower, now ive proved it. so i take the 15s off and the buyer hands over the cash and strolls off with them, so on go the 17s, drop the jack down on the front end and the arches drop and keep dropping until the arch sits on the tyre!!! |
