fitted my neons today, and used the +ve and -ve from my original vauxhall foglamps in the old bumper, went alright, used the supplied fused and of course it'd go through the cars switch, relay and fuse already in place.

was driving home after fitting them and slowed to about 20mph in 2nd coming up to a stopped car and the speedo jumped to 150+ i thought..oh, so i turned the neons off.

got home, turned them off and the speedo jumped to 150+ and the mileage went up 1 mile progressivly, then the speedo returned to 0 and that was it. turn them off and speedo goes up to 150+ for a few seconds, and resettles, no change in mileage, what the fudge is happening?

this is a corsa c sxi.
