just wire your lighter to the ignition live and the ground of the head unit i did and works fine and your battery dosent drain away when leaving your mobile phone charger plugged in

i just wired mine in so its permanently live.......couldnt find the wiring and the lighter on my dads focus is permanently live so cant be dangerous. only thing is u will need to disconnect the little bulb in the ash tray or this will be permanently on

those wires are a complete and utter bitch to find and weed out, but they are there! there taped up with the loom that runs underneath the headunit. if you have a feel about around the back towards the right hand side, you should feel a big block bulging out from the loom. This is the connector you need... but tis easier to say pull it out, than it is to do :lol:.

I would say its there matey, just undo the loom behind the place where is meant to be and you should find it, 3 wires, two go to a double plu and then there is a single

got a ciggie lighter for my r-reg facelift corsa 1.2 breeze (as it doesnt come with 1 as std)

Will i have the wiring? as i cant find it! (ive got the rest of the loom for boot light, mirrors etc which done come as std)
