Changed my cv joint last wk, joy! Ball joint 2 as I burst the gaiter when separating the hub from the ball joint. :( The original cv joint had a shield on it which sat into hub to keep shit out the wheel bearing but the pattern one didnt. Since they were re-conned units i thought they would be identical except new races on inside but apparently not. Will this cause any probs i.e soon to be siezed wheel bearing? or will it b fine? Part was from AMK ad the same part (& only partnumber) listed by most local factors. Vauxhaull listed 2 units, a recon velco and a complete new delphi unit at wait for it... £126! :lol::lol::lol: Other solution much cheaper. Cheers for any help u'z can offer peeps. :thumbs:
