was it me that confused ya!? I was talking about the split charge wiring system if i did.... or am i still being confusing? I need to go to bed! :lol:

i think i paid about £35 for the whole kit, including the relay, wiring, connectors, fuses and heat shrink. Got it from motorworld, HTH.

Just take your old one to an alternator specialist and get it uprated. The relay is about £30

thanks any idea of price of the autoleads relay? Have been looking for an alternator is there a higher spec vauxhall i could take one from that will fit straight in, ive had trouble looking?

It would be a good idea to upgrade the alternator to at least 70amp.

Buy the autoleads PC-30 (i think) which is a 120a relay designed for split charging.

i want to buy an 80 amp relay, does anybody no if this will be powerful enough for two batterys and will i need to upgrade my alternator from the oe 55a 1? :boggle:
