i am usin the concertina air feed that came with it but the rings rusted so pipercross sent me a new one

never thought about usin samco although its a tight behind there for me.

and ive got a silver end :)

Sorry no pics at the mo, red end piece and a nice length of red samco hosing, looks really good.

The cold air feed is at the bottom of my bumper, behind the mesh, when you cover it with ya hand ya can feel it trying to suck it in.:thumbs:

where u got ure cold air feed sat out of interest dan? mines smack up to grill its dead funny when u get someone to put their hand there and watch there face when u rev. a lad i know was once leanin over my engine bay and i was sat in car and i reved and it sucked his tracky bottoms in :lol:

Wouldn't want that to happen, you'd see a drop in performance with an obstruction like that :P

u cant hear mine for the zorst regardless of wot u do :lol:

Maybe I just don't notice the noise so much as I had a BFO before which was really loud.

hi mate i got the viper on my Gsi too with full zorst system, my viper sounds the nutts though:D

disconnect the air feed from the viper kit itself and drive it then flooring it after 3000revs, u will see!!
but it kinda defeats the whole idea of the viper if you disconnect it:rolleyes:

I'm in the proces of making my own viper 'clone' with a K&N, some plasting pipe off and extractor fan, 100mm dia alluminium ducting, alluminium sheeting and some insulation.

Will post pictures and the steps i took once finished.

Got my car back with the Piper X Viper fitted, and it seems really good, definately a big difference in pickup, not much noise from it, but I'd rather have the performance, looks wicked too.;)
