twin 40 carbs have been around a long time i used to run them on my 1.6 fiesta track car. its basically 2 carbs which equal twice as much fuel in and we all know the quicker u get the fuel in the better it goes. they are not a patch on throttle bodies though and no where near as much to buy either.

but not in the fuel economy dept :D

throttle bodies will give more power and better consumption as they use injectors which are a lot more precise than carbs.

Carburettors. They mix fuel with air before the mixture reaches the cylinder. An alternative to fuel injection. To my knowledge anyway :)
