But I can pull up at lights and the revs stick at like 2500rpm.

Idle Control Valve may need a good clean. It is normal for the engine to hold high revs up to 1500rpm from cold, for the first couple of minutes.

I've had the 1.6 lump in my Corsa for a few days now, and I'm having one or two problems, firstly it idles at anywhere between 1000 and 3000rpm, secondly the engine warning light comes on( for around 2mins) then off then on, and finally sometimes it starts fine, and others it really needs revving to fire up.:(:( Its under warranty so it will get sorted, but just wondered what you lot thought the problem could be.;) |
