know how u feel mate. ive smothed in my dtms and its taking me ages to sand the filler down so its smooth an no imperfections. | |

yeah i agree its all in the preperation, it takes minutes to paint the handles but hours to prep them, just make sure you use plastic primer on the plastic, if there is still a little texture showing through try using high build primer on top of the plastic primer then paint, i just did my M3's and they look like a body shop did them, took me 2 days to do thats getting home from work and working on them till 1-2 in the morning!!!! | |

Whack some primer on evenly in light coats (build it up) making sure its sticking, when you've covered all the plastic sand down with really fine grade of wet and dry till its like glass (super smooth) your then ready to paint! | |

You sand them down to the point where all the dimple (orange peel) stuff has gone but then rough them up alittle so that the primer sticks, get the primer to a glass like finish then, thats what i did with interior parts, prob the same concept :thumbs: | |
