Well the powerflow is gonna have to wait till after chrismas cos i got a lot of things to pay for at the moment. os if i go for a straight pipe it will be ok? sound louder, sound raspy?

May as well get it done, although if you have a straight through pipe and no silencer at all it might sound raspy when cold. Powerflow in St Albans quoted me £160 to have my centre section replaced with a straight through pipe with just a small silencer on it to stop it being as raspy.

Right i just been to National Tyres & Exhausts down the road to get the centre silencer removed and the bloke there was gonna do it for £25 so i thought "Sweet" but he couldnt find a bit of exhaust pipe that would be long enough to fit the gap. then one other geeza stuck his nose in and said that it shouldnt be done cos the centre silencer doubles as an Expansion Chamber and that if i had a straigh pipe then it would blow the back box up. I personally think this is utter bullshit but i just wanted this confirmed. I got a 1.2 8v so should i get it done or not? if not what should i do instead?
