So, I can leave the cat-conv. alone and just replace the silencer? Was going to replace the cat as I dnt have a MOT for another 2 years but thats looking expensive. Would I be able to order the de-silencer pipe from somewhere? I'm in north scotland so Leeds is a bit far to go.

quote: NO! u are gettin confused. wat chris uk got done was removed the center silencer. The Cat is mounted on the bottom of the manifold on a corsa c. To revone it u would prob have to get a custom manifold possibly. chris uk just got the silncer between the cat and the backbox removed so it was stragiht thru from cat to back box.

It does as it replaces the cat-converter with a straight through pipe . It's just basically a bit of pipe I think so it should be cheap. Mind, your car will fail the MOT.
