Not really... such as wire shouldn't get hot as it should be thick enough to handle the current, if not then its fire time. | |

I have a 120 amp relay and this gets fookin roasting, tis mounted in the engine bay so it dont bother me :) | |

I've wired up an automotive 40amp relay. I have a 7.5amp fuse on the feedin and outs. After a few mins with the relay being switched on it gets warm to touch. Then it gets really hot. |
