Thanks for your help guys - just done it with the marker pen, looks ok - just need to see what they will look like at night!

I'm thinking of installing white leds around the facias so that the dial lights up and not the numbers!! I'll let you all know how I get on.

Hi nessi. You got any pics of your plasma dials in the car? Cheers

needles work fine, a coat of nail varnish wont make a noticable differance, if any!
A permanent marker shud wrk fine!

Ive just put white plasma dials in my car and i decided to colour in my needles using a fine tip black permenant pen, which looks very good. My first idea was to paint them with flourecent paint, but everyone said not to as it would weigh too much for the needles to work properly. So i wouldn't use nail varnish either as this will probably weigh too much too. Stick with your first idea and use your red permenant pen.
Good Luck
:)

Hi,

I have white dials and white needles, which don't show up against the dial face. I have bought a permanent marker pen from Smiths today to colour them in red as I have heard that this is the best way to colour them.

Has anyone tried this and do they look good once done - don't want to ruin them!!:boggle:
