I'd just come home from school, put the t.v. on and saw it come up on the news.
Proves how long ago it was, i left school just over a year ago now.

I was playing pool with my mate when it came over the radio. The radio NEVER works in this place so I didn't believe it was real til I went home and switch on the TV, it was all over every channel.
I remember watching the towers drop live on Sky News

Well get this!
I was flying home from Faliraki on the 12th 
32 hours delayed and the airport was the busyest/maddest place i have ever seen.
Just hope all the families have got there lives back in order now

i was sat in a bar in aiya napa and couldnt believe what was unfolding before me.
then i had to fly home the next day and the plane i was on was an air egypt plane. i love flying but after seeing some ragheads fly a plane into the WTC i didnt really feel comfortable having some fly me home

the airport in cyprus was like nothing you will ever witness. kinda reminded me of a scene in a movie. people lying anywhere they could get a seat. floor, tables, chairs etc. and people fighting over the last food/drink available
lets hope no one ever has to witness scenes like this in their lifetime

I was at work in Ascot, (that shop dont have a radio) some guy comes in and says "have you heard about the USA" we were like what???
Then he told us, didn't belive him at first, then more and more people came in talking about it.
Really weird and scary, my cousin is in the Royal Marienes (spelling) and was over that way... So glad he came home.
This is probably the 2nd thing that sticks in my mind... 1st being princess Diana... Didn't belive that either..

Diana thing was well wierd
I went to sleep with the radio on that night, when i woke i thought i had been dreaming about the crash.
When i put the tv on and saw what had happened i was like

i was on the skool bus back home n this lad was sat at the front crying saying "New yorks been blown of the face of the planet" i was like "what u on bout" then i got home n every1 in our house was glued to the screen, i cudn't beleive what was happnin then i saw both the towers collapse one after the other.
my heart goes out to all those who died and their families.
