effects ur search results and download speed slightly.

download kazaa-lite and it automatically gives u full participation level.

the higher the level the more priority u get over others when downloading the same file i think.

Every download you do on Kazaa your participation level goes down one, then for every upload if goes up one. You get priority download (faster downloads) the higher level you have.
Get Kazaa-Lite and it's set to the highest level (1000) all the time so you get faster downloads.

Give you a higher priority when queueing for files.
ie. if 3 poeple are trying to download a file from a persons machine they will be queued, if you have a higher participation level than the other 2 you will download first.

It doesn't affect the download rate, just allows you to connect faster.

That's what I was trying to say, so you get the mp3 or whatever faster as you get first priorty download over other peeps.

If you haven't got 1000 on the participation level with Kazaa Lite upgrade to the latest version. My laptop has a participation level of 1000 whereas my PC has the old version and has a level of 28 or something!
