there is not much of a hp difference cause the Civic revs to 8000rpm. the leon pulls peak power at under 6000rpm as does the GSi and focus

CTR, Astra GSi, Leon cupraR, clio cup are all around the acceleration to 60, and 100. driver input means a lot. I've beat a CTR at crail

i disagree why do you think the insurance will be an issue on corsa gsi? it's just like buying a punto turbo, r5 gt turbo and clio cup 170 its only supposed to be 175 bhp thats 5 more than the 2.0 litre clio 170 and they don't cost alot to insure and vauxhall being vauxhall most of there gsi range is only a couple of grand more than the sri so not that much to buy

Good arguments people..

Things to remember in my case..

I am 30 insurance not a prob.
I will be getting 20-25% OFF list price through my work..

So really thats why it was astra/corsa Idea and not CTR/172/seat etc.

I have mailed vaux and askeda few questions about corsa GSi so I will see what they come back with...
