I have sent e.mails asking about hiring racelogics Vbox system. getting a mag in not important unless they can cover full costs. also depends on how many people turn up. to little it costs a lot but too many and you only get a few runs. personally I feel we can get enough people from this website.

What about Bovingdon? Thats where they have done the Kamakazi (sp) runs before???
apart from its not central ( at all)

Hehe I'd imagine bovingdon being cheap... every time I've driven past the gates have been left open (free day ) - though its not exactly in the best condition

Still gotta hire the stuff though.

This whole thing is being blown up though, the original idea was a CS RWYB day so that people (and a large amount being the smaller engined cars) could have some competition against each other in groups without being shadowed by scoobys.

Now I hear about driving all the way up north to crail? (who invited the scotts anyway ) and getting other clubs involved (defeats the point of CorsaSport Run what you brung day!)

Maybe we should of just had it at santa pod and been done with that

I dunno - I just hope this happens and I don't end up having to travel miles, no doubt this will be a weekend so i'll need to get back for work the next day.

no point i n santa pod cause your still going to have to hire it or go along to one of their days which are packed and you'll not get many runs

Santa Pod isn't that packed - you could get quite a few runs in - its just trying to organise it so people run with other people from CS...

I agree a air strip with our own gear or something hired out for just us would be ideal... though doing our own timing surely might not be that accurate (comparing against times made on that day is ok though) ...

Each time i've been to Santa Pod we've had to queue 45 mins to 1 hour between each of the runs. I wouldn't suggest Santa Pod at all plus in a few months it'll shut for winter.
