no, it is in the same league, I am refering back to top gears testing of the vehicle and Clarkson's comments.

No he probably meant the handling was the best handling in its class etc or for small car but u cant tell me that a 106 GTI handles as well as a porsche...

Not as good as... but in its class nothing comes near it and its up there with some of the best. Rather be in a 106gti in the wet than an mr2 n/a
