Just had this guy in his nova up my boot all my way home from work.
When we got into built up area speed limit is 30mph, so I was doing about 30-35mph as he was still up my arse then he over took me an the car in front on a a bend (tw@t!) so I flashed my lights at the tw@t and he stops the car in middle of road and gets out trying to kick off on me, nob head! I just drove off with him standing in middle of road looking an idiot.
Fcuking hate people that drive in your boot, these no need! He was about a foot or two away from my car, if I had braked he would have gone into the back of me!!!

why should he let him past when he was still actually going over the speed limit. I would also go slower then drop a few gears when they try to get past to piss them off

if ya dont like someone close behind ya - if they wanna speed - let them past

The way the guy reacted is just typical of some people these days, the amount of times someones nearly crashed into me cos they're not paying attention or just plain dangerous driving, and then become abusive to me when I toot them, if I'm ever in the wrong I always give a little wave to say sorry!

no - u are being rather stupid - if u are driving 1 foot away from someone - and see red lights in front (and how many cars only have 1 light as fog light these days) u would be braking

if ya tell me ya wouldnt - u are lying

so u aint read the full thread - where he said car was
quote:
He was about a foot or two away from my car

which im refering to

so ur brain has enuff reaction time at wotever speed, to know if the car is slowing down or not if they have red lights showing on rear.

how long u been driving now??

that makes no sense

why is it bad - im sure 90% of people on here IF (not saying they would be) were driving a foot or 2 from a car - and they put there rear fog light on, they would brake themself, not wait to see if the car infront was actually braking

cause if u was behind me that close, i'd put fogs on, if u didnt pull back - id hit the anchors, then u would be calling up ur insurance company to make a claim saying it was ur fault

I think if i'm driving 1ft away from the driver infront, and i see ANY red light from their rear lights, i'll immediately get onto the brakes!

1ft is not enought distance (even at 30mph) to judge whether or not the car is slowing down.

thank you IntaCepta

u dont have enuff time to react to know if its a fog - of a brake - so u instanctly brake

yes but you wouldnt slow right down as the impression in this post is given, you'd slow down to match the car infronts new speed, if they didnt slow down then you wouldnt brake anymore would you

how can u slow down to match there speed - ur 1 foot away - u dont know how hard they are braking
