No I was very irritated by this, I would have run up the strip as it seemed very sticky yesterday & helped with my grip issue.

I dont think lee would have done a 16 dead. There were a few 1.6's (inc Ed Renshaw) that were doign mid 16"s which i was a,little dissapointed by. Thought he would hit a low 16/high 15.

I think the nova was only a 1.4 or a 1.6. My best run was against the MR2. He just left me off the line But by the time i changed to 4th i was deffo 100% catching him. I was doing 91mph and he was doing 88mph. Just got off the line better. It was a turbo too. HE speant ages spraying water in the engine bay, pissing about trying to make it run at its best.

Also, i wanted to race a 16v Astra, and i did, and thrashed it

Cossvaux's astra has a 340bhp kit coming for it, but it will still only run 250bhp. When we had it it was 272bhp and that was well enough!

The blus nova is Mark's from RJ Automotive he will be chuffed that you were impressed when i tell him. He was desprate to get in the 13's he was very very close with the best time of the day on his 3rd run being 14.006!!!

It is a very good time considering its got 18's and leather and a lot of bodykit!! He shoule be chuffed really......he beat the Vx220 Turbo though

The car is up for sale as well:
