depends on the place and the day, few places quid a pint. nowhere is expensive really, can't afford to be with all the competition. gauranteed a good night if you end up in the queen of hearts.

get down before the 11th June. Best time to go is freshers week nxt yr (last week in sept) or wednesday 11th june, huge end of yr party, 8pm to 8am at the union, academy, fairground rides in between, dodgems, bout 8 bars. always a wicked night!

not sure on that night. gotta get advance tickets though, just go in with a load of students and say you forgot ya card. will be a class night, every student will be there.

Not bad! If you like your beer, get in the Temple bar. You know the 24 hr Maccys? Walk from there in the direction of the uni, about 200yards along on the right are some steps leading down. It used to be a public toilet, now a bar with many nice beers!

Cool - theres that gaff under the arches as well - ive heard thats good - is this the one you mean?

Sofa bar do good beer but its not always cheap.

They have doormen on maccys!!

Theres also those boozers near the spar under the footbridge that spans the road.

thirsty scholar, attic etc that are near oxford rd station are the ones i guess you mean. they're alright. Also, try Scubar, in the car park for the aquatics centre, just near the uni, lots of students, also the footage and firkin on oxford rd, bout 2mins from the station, loads of students in there too!

the boozer im thinking of is between revolution and cinema i think.

Went past Scubar - looked a bit too nice if you know what i mean - i like scruffy student bars with comfy armchairs

next weekend and the weekend after will be pretty big as people will be out celebrating the end of exams. my mission is to see how many different pubs I can have a pint in within one week. only problem is that after a few pints I'll forget which pubs i have been in

thats a quality idea! i reckon the beer that always ends up down my t shirt by the end of the night will ruin it though! still, its a challenge! also going to see how many different pints a can drink in one day.
