The companies that boast any kind of performance car/modified car speciality usually respond well to having 'experience' in a certain type of car.

It may cost you £700 or whatever in year 1 with Greenlight, but if you can avoid binning it for 12months you should see a healthy drop, whereas a more mainstream market insurer is likely to lure you in with a decent price, which'll just creep up over the years.

That's certainly been my experience anyway.
