Knowing Alonso's history of seat jumping, JB will win Monaco

Unless McLaren are eyeing up exposure in the United States - I suspect it's a business's decision as much as anything.

McLaren are about as behind this as it gets, the Andretti car he'll be in is (apparently) going to be wearing full McLaren Honda livery and apparently the new Macca boss actually suggested this to Nando' early in the year.

It gets McHonda sponsors some headlines and coverage - they'll be loving it.

Can anyone clarify this rule change for the 2018 season?

"Measures will be taken to ensure that oil will not be used as fuel in 2018"

Mercedes (and maybe others) have been heavily accused over the off-season of burning significant amounts of oil during Q3 particularly but perhaps during the race and other sessions too.

In road car terms, mixing oil with fuel/combustion results in a lower octane rating and in most cases - knock. Obviously using race fuels and lubricants the F1 teams have found a benefit for doing it and some teams aren't happy about it.

The Chinese and Singapore Grands Prix are in doubt for 2018 after being listed as provisional on the first release of the official calendar.

Looking forward to tomorrow's race, love the tight castle section! One misplaced car there can block the whole track too, as they found out in GP2 race!

Should have got the brunch

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
