why? i like black

i love black but maintaining it is a nightmare. I had black with my 1 series and it looked great but showed every mark

Also, I am a fan of washing and not having to dry it every time - which I had to do with black

Get some heated recaro st seats. I don't think I could go back to not having heated seats.

It's a different car, basically exactly the same spec but without the red bits.

Saved an extra £1200 getting this one over the red/black one.

Fair enough, makes sense if that's the case.

UPDATE:

Gave it a decent clean, did a fairy liquid wash and then polished it and added 2 layers of dodo purple haze and then a coat of collinite no.915, should help with the winter muck.

Also debadged the rear end, going to order new number plates for it

BEADING

Rain X'd the windscreen as well.

After getting a Fiesta and having a go in an ST these are starting to appeal to me, I like what you've done with it looks clean!

The chassis on these is very good and set up well. I think the zetec s' ride is a lot more forgiving than the ST, which is extremely firm. A bit too firm to be a daily driver if you do a lot of high speed mileage really.

Suspension seems about right on the fiesta for me. Not a soggy boat but doesn't bang and thump over potholes. Makes me wonder about corrado suspension as that seems rock hard now.

Not when you're doing 450 miles in one sitting shaken to bits.

I know but when you look at a car, it all looks pretty much the same old thing, metal bits that go up and down

Fitted new plates over xmas, found the dealer ones a bit cluttered.

Mid-plate-swap pic, (felt the right time to take a photo for the internet)

Not sure about the domed plates, think i should have gone for normal but will see how i feel once they have been run in

I had them washer jets on my MK6 and they were a massive improvement. Although I paid about £3 from Ford and painted them myself 😂

This is such an Internet (and pointless) thing to say but that looks really really nice without a front plate
