Why are you buying a new car? Why not lease?

Am sure the lease deal worked out that i lose more money and then you have to pay £5k at the end or just carry on the payments and get another car.

I'm pretty sure the 140ps was only on the Black/Red editions. The 'standard' Zetec-S has the 125ps variant.

Comparing new vs used. Pointless.

Saying that, I'd only buy a new fiesta on pcp. No point buying outright as they lose so much money.

My Fiesta is £225 a month. I see it as a contract, where I can get another new car every 9 months if I want to.

I want something i haven't got to touch or fix. I know i could get a vw, but for the money of a low mileage fiesta you get a 3-4yr old vag with 30, 000miles+ on it.

I have considered pcp, but you add up the monthly payments and deposit etc and then the final value they give you for the car and I'd rather buy something nearly new and have no monthly payments, so could be putting £250 a month into savings.

3yrs away i might be back to using corrado daily or selling/sold it. My audi is starting to need work done every so often now and bored of it.

1.0 fiesta will be great 140ps and a great chassis will be able to use all the power imo.

Figured out if i get a brand new ST line on PCP for 3yrs it will cost me about £12k and walk away without a car.

Looking at doing over 45,000miles in 3yrs.

For £11,500 i can buy one with 11,000miles on it, own it outright, not sure what it'll be worth in 3yrs time but if its worth £3k then i'm sure i'm better off.

One with warranty. Not that you care, of course. Your cars are forever breaking down by the looks of them.

Yes because my 66 plate evoque and 15 plate insignia both break down regularly.....

Your 2003 z4 must be much better..... which is surprising as its only 6 years newer than my evo.... which infact has an evo 7 engine from around the same year as your car?

And my 1978 kadett never broke down once? But i look forward to it being on the road.... as i wont have to tax it

Maybe you should paint your rag top or possibly get your dad to fix your car again for you instead of posting shite because i wouldnt spend £11k on a fucking 1.0 fiesta with red bits

4k a year to own a brand new Fiesta ST is a bargain IMO and at least you don't have to drive round in a 1.0. But that's just my opinion

its a 1.0 with the same power as my audi 2.0 16v tdi though. £20 a year to tax, 60mpg, cheap to insure, i have really warmed to the idea of it, read some reviews of the red/black edition, not seen a bad one yet,.

i can't get the figures to add up for leasing, i know the car will devalue, but i'd rather not have to watch my mileage. If i get the 1.0, nothing will change for me, apart from not having some cash sat in an account earning not very much interest. If anything i'll have more money to spend each month
