If you're still lucky enough to go out on a weekend even if it's a rarely what would you prefer to do? Im asking as me, the gf and few of her mates are going out next week however not until 10:15pm, to me thats half the night wasted, fair enough we're having a couple of drinks in our local but it means getting a bus at 10:15 on the night up to the main place. So i said i aint going then gf pipes up she aint going cause I'm not. Fml.

Used to aim to be properly on it by midnight. By the time you've rounded everyone up at whatever house is most local it soon adds up.

Seems strange that you're bothered about wasting the night but you're happy to miss it completely, surely not going at all wastes more of it.

Out as early as possible. Don't like getting in later than 2 either... the days of staying out all weekend soon disappeared when I had kids

Oh god. You went there didn't you. You just had to go there and use the term ''pre-drinks''.

Usually go round my mates first these days as he lives literally in town... we won't leave his until at least 220 though, possibly even 230.

To be honest these days I'm done at midnight and would rather get home and have a good nights kip!

Cba and doesn't suit are two different things.

People that blame their kids for never being able to go out are just lying. Yes it's more difficult, if you wanted it enough you'd find time - like you do for cars

It's all very well finding the time in the evening to go out. It's dealing with your children the next day when inside of your head feels like lentil soup and you're holding back the chunder.

Don't have to drink that much to get to that level then..
Just drink less, and drink responsibly.
If you have to drink to get to the point you're puking everytime then give got issues - especially when you know you've got kids at home. Just go out, pace yourself and have 5/6 drinks..

I seldom vomit when actually drinking. The next day however I can feel very nauseous even after only a few drinks the night before. I don't have issues but many thanks for your concern.
