Poached egg on toast. Off to work in a few hours so this will keep me going until my main meal about midnight. Much prefer it to scrambled egg


These are slightly done too long as I had to answer the door due to a delivery.

That's pepper. Locally sourced yes, there is an asda down the road so I sourced them from there.

Drop an egg into water... Few drops of vinager, and sure to stir the water so it's still moving as you drop egg in.

It wraps the egg white around the yolk

Shouldn't need to use vinegar or spin the water if the eggs are good. They need to be pretty fresh and the white holds together well. If they're a few days old they'll be a bit crap and gloopy and will separate a bit.

supermarket eggs need it, local sourced ones tend not to.
