Had a haircut today. When he held mirror up at the end i noticed I'm getting a proper thin patch now. Gutting.

Do people just shave it all off when this starts happening. I look fine from the front and i guess you would need to be quite tall to see the top of my head, so may not be an issue.

Might embrace the prince William look, women seem to like him.

Cut mine short. Not balding at all though. If it happens, not only am I already ready.
It's also practical for now, and doesn't require me paying some silly prick £12 every 3 weeks whilst enduring small talk.
Also means I don't look like every other person with a comb over

The earliest point I noticed I was thinning was this picture from PVS 07 when I was 20.

It was less than 3 years after that that I shaved it. I'd always had it short, the only changes to my hair throughout my life has been dropping the numbers that it was shaved to so it was probably heading that way anyway. In the early days of shaving it I kept on top of it, shaving it every couple of weeks but as time went on and I got a bit lazier about it I realised that I quite like having hair, even if it's not all there, so nowadays I probably only shave it every 2-3 months.

It is a tough thing for some people to come to terms with but if it's happening you really need to get used to it because one thing I've learnt is that people will not hesitate in pointing it out and taking the mick, whether it's people you know or people you don't, they don't hold back in pointing out your resemblance to a cue ball

That's exactly how I look.

£35 shaver, does face and hair. Owned it two years now.

£12 x 34 (slightly over) = £1,248

With tips, you're talking easily over £1300, on hair. Without wax etc and other shit people use.

£4.50 in town for a mens dry cut. Pay £9 for mine at a really nice little barbers though, worth paying a few quid more to not be surrounded by scrubbers.

Tbh I always get complimented for my hair so they must be doing something right but yes, I agree, getting robbed. It takes about 30 minutes to wash, towel dry, cut, do sideburns, neckline etc with straight razor, wash, blow-dry and style.

That's a good hourly rate for them!

Wages are proportionate to living costs. I shop in Sainsburys and my car was paid for in cash.
