It's 100bhp per litre, so maybe pushing the boundaries a little, being that it's an NA.

My neighbour has a 60 plate 530 and that sounds rough as toast, been run on shit oil and not had a change but I'd be pissed if I needed a new engine on a 6yo car just because it fell behind on services.

Its an issue with the bearings, BMW made different ones after a string of issues in the US they are trying to start a class action with BMW.

So brand new engine is coming 2month wait though.

Around 21k its been priced at. So i didnt have warrnaty the car would be getting a cheapo engine, or it would go off the road for a few more months and have the stroker kit fitted

I wouldn't bother towing it, you'll end up covering it in stone chips and that will attract seagulls and scare off your customers.

No thats the price that it would cost if i didnt have warranty. But i wouldnt be going to bmw if i didnt have warranty
