Hi m9s

Has the Trophy 3 weeks now and my goodness what a wonderful vehicle, when I booked the test drive I'd seen all the usual reviews etc so went into it thinking I wouldn't like it and would end up with a Megane 275 Trophy. Anyway from the minute I had it in RS Drive even in auto mode I was hooked, the exhaust noise the speed of the shift, the way it turns in and all that technology in a Clio I was sold.

Think the 220 has a larger turbo, intake, exhaust system and mapping, gearbox is 50% quicker at shifting than a normal 200EDC, has Michelin Supersport tyres and I love it. It has the same engine as the Nissan Juke Nismo which has 270bhp so defiantly scope for more power.

No real plans, maybe a centre silencer delete and a private plate. RS Tuning just took delivery of theirs so be interesting to see how things develop.

I like the look of the back end and the interior, but that front end is unforgivable.

I didn't like them when they first came out, its not for everyone and I like the fact not that many on the road.

Oh ok, fair enough.

Can I just point out the 12 o'clock stitching on the wheel is more like 11:30.

Makes no sense as it doesn't line up vertically with the badge.

Looks great, interiors have come on so far in the last 3-4 years in the smaller hot-hatch bracket.

Really fancy a go in one of these. My 1.5 Dynamique is fun as it is!! The new Clio's are fairly spacious and the boot is pretty good.

Don't, you'll want one. Even people that have 200EDC are trading in to get a Trophy.

My Dynamique is a company car so won't be swapping it.

Looking at 200's though for track use.
