Steve one word advice based on my cousins new build
The show houses have small furniture to make rooms look bigger so make sure measure furniture before you order as some of her furniture she ordered is fair too big for the room

Well we probs won't be ordering much larger stuff until we have the keys. And we have the plans with measurements to work off too.
I want to ask they give us a week with the house before they fit the carpets as I have loads of wiring I want to run

They won't sign anything off that's not on the spec due to the nhbc warranty so needs to be done after handover

Some sort of routing tool that makes the holes it comes with plugs you just drop in and that's it sealed back up

I wasnt saying 2 spaces were a bonus I was just saying thats what we opted for.
The larger garden is a bonus however, as all the ones with garages have smaller gardens. Not only that we have an extra 6 foot wide strip of garden down the side of the house.
I do prefer the parking space layout too as with the garage layout you are right next to someone elses car, meaning if you want to wash it etc you arent gonna have a lot of room

All snagging is covered under warranty anyway, only thing not covered is shrinkage and paint cracks caused by it.
Will get everything checked out before signing it all over anyways

One of the worst housebuilders ever to exist.
Both in terms of their end product/work but also their planning/relations/aftersales team.
They generally build the smallest housetypes in the crammed spaces. For instance they aim for 22 houses per acre, other companies aim for 15/18.
They also do not give a toss once a property is built, several schemes they have built the houses and just left all the landscaping/hardscaping.
They also recently built a development with a segment over a privately owned strip of land, costing them a huge amount of money in compensation.
I'd avoid at all costs.
