Theres a few regular posters selling shitters on the local pages.
Normally have no mot and being sold as "wont need much" or "dont know what it will need for mot". Yet when you reg check it its been in for an mot that day with a fail sheet as long as your arm.

When you say no you just get a string of abuse. One lad was going to come see it but never got back to me so I assumed he wasnt bothering & someone came all the way from Kent off the owners club to view it left a deposit on the car to hold it and bought it. While this was going on I messaged the time waster from Preston to say deposit taken and about 2 hours later I got a message to say he had driven all the way to my house looked around the car on the drive while I was in the house and drove home. He was going to comeback with a mate later on that night and take it 
I swiftly locked the car up at a different location told the lad its sold so not to bother (got bombarded with abuse) and went out on the piss  Guy from Kent arrived loved it gave full asking and off he went.
Facebook groups just allow the retards of society to communicate sadly.

Lots of people getting involved when they had no intention of buying it saying that it was mapped by the wrong people and it should have been done by so and so and would make more power blah blah etc
In the end chap from the owners club came to Essex from the isle of mann. Offered me what I wanted if I threw in my track wheels and tea and biscuits  Job done.

I've put an ad on Clio Owners outlining my 197 going next week in px if someone stumps up the same as what Renault are offering (2800) they can take it for that.
Que loads of inbred idiots offering me £2500 ffs
Seriously I wish they'd never opened up the Internet to the masses, it's been ruined.

Someone just offered an Astra like mine but cat C in 2009 meaning the damage will have been far worse to write it off, offer of 650 then one of 700, then he said its sold!
It did have an M Sport spoiler on the back, perhaps that made it worth 6 times as much.

Never had one to start with. Seen people get the sack over fb posts, so with my shitty attitude to people, life, and everything. I feel it's better to not bother risking it.
