Well done for finding a pic 2/3 years old... I imagine that took lost of weirdo searching.
I'm so upset that it's online, and public it's not as if it was put online by me in the first place
May have known you'd get involved, anything for a few browny points, hope you get lots of internet likes

He does look like a bus driver imo.

The guy he's with looks like one of his passengers imo. Probably a regular priority seat user imo.

How sure are you that its going to be the same underneath? That is the newer engine so I suppose newer ancillaries are preferable to be left with.

If you know its identical then yeah, be honest

Car was 3, engine was 1

It'll bring 6 min, probably closer to 8

2 grand to play with, I'd have a week of hassle and work for that.

WBAC have quoted me over 7k and that was assuming it had more owners and less history, turns out its 1 owner and full history.

Shteven, I've got the engine on the floor in front of me and I can't find the engine number, I doubt they'll find it in the car..

You'll be lucky if they even open the bonnet mate, they didn't with my Volvo, there was no way in the world they would have spotted if the engine wasn't the original one.

No chance any buyer will check or indeed notice, or indeed care.

You do realise that repairing cars is perfectly normal, in fact a lot of cars on the road will have had repairs at some point in their life.

Perfectly normal thing to do in fact when I was looking at Astra Coupes many years ago there was a Network Q one in a main dealer which had an engine swap and was being retailed on the forecourt.

My convert had a new short motor which would have had a new engine number, again done in the main dealer.

That was sold on years later and is still driving about.

I also doubt its going to WBAC.

Buying a car with a swapped engine is imo dodgy as fuck. You could be driving round in a car that has 25k on the dials with an engine sporting 100k plus

Not saying it doesn't happen btw. But I'd be pretty annoyed to find that had happened if I bought a car
