you dont get a lot of miles from them. most i ever had from a front set was between 10-12k

I had them on the fiesta I've just sold. I'd done 6k on them and they weren't half worn.

Also had them on my old 106 GTi which I did 8k and a track day on. Still had plenty left.

The Goodyear eagle F1 things are £88 fitted on asda tyres. Which nearest tyre fitting is at top of my street.

Cheap tyres last longer because they're made from the hardest compound the earth has ever seen. Great for a nice slow wear rate, shocking for any type of spirited driving.

found a page online line saying they should be replaced after 6 years, but it all depends on how theyve been stored

Pilot supersports will be night on the best tyre you can get in that size but won't be that cheap. Even tyreleader you will be paying over £100 a corner.

I was using mine to go from Cornwall to Bristol once a week and usually mileage in-between. Nothing racey. Lasted 5,000 miles.

Toyo's are designed for cars getting thrown about.

Useless on the mileage scale, once a tyre heats up on a longer journey it will wear quicker, and with a soft compound tyre you'll get crap mileage

i bet nobody checks the age of tyres on a car they are buying, perhaps they check how much tread is left, but most dont even bother with that.

pretty sure now everyone on the net will now tell me how they check the dates and also that they are produced in a matching batch etc etc

My 20vT has Proxes and done around 8k so far and have barely worn at all.

Just buy some decent rubber and be done with it.

Do any manufacturers stick on toyos from new? If not, theres probably a reason for it.
