I liked the original two Halos and got the one for the 360 that bum fucked my HDD and lost all my game data, never completed it in the end. Could be tempted but it does feel quite samey, not seen the latest editions though.
Can't get over the size difference between the two tbh, I prefer the Xbox looks. Tempted to get a skin

Halo 3 was a big part of my childhood lol, everyone would come online after school and play endless custom games.
Halo 4 is a bit iffy to me as it's not made by Bungie and they tried too much new stuff.
It's worth getting the special editions of the Xbox's as 500gb fills up fast with all the downloaded games and that.

You can still buy discs but some of the big games require installing like GTA 5
Tomb Raider was free a while back and it's pretty decent, there's decent games coming out for free every month

Worth noting that even at reduced resolution (720p compared to 900p) Battlefront isn't performing as well on Xbone as on PS4 (in the Beta, anyway).
Not that it's crippling in any way, but if I was to play 720p games on my 1080p TV, I'd at least expect them to run smoothly.

Yes. And agree with other Alex, it's incredibly repetitive, even for a beta.

That's a pretty lame effort from Xbox!
It seems clear to me that the PS4 is likely the "better" machine.
But everyone's got an Xbox and I'm used to it all.

Got the Xbox.
Piece of shit tbh. Took an entire day of updates and installs to get the thing working (COD).
I despise the new menu, I HATE the new controller and its fooking massive, plus its noiser than my 360e.
Should have got a PS4 etc, but everyone has Xbox and then theres Halo/Forza....
Still annoyed though, feels like a leap backwards.

Are you sure it's not faulty? The only time I can even hear mine is when there's a disk in and even then it's a lot quieter than my 360 was.
Do you have the updated dashboard that came out a few days ago?
surprised you don't like the pad tbh, it's the best one I've ever used (and I've used a lot) the 360 pad feels incredibly stiff and clunky when I go back to it now.

I should clarify that was largely when it was installing COD. Had a read up online and allegedly if installing from a disc, it is wise to "Go offline" do the install to the point it asks you to log into Xbox live, then do the online bit. When it does both at once it can get screwy apparently?!
I had the last Xbox360 the "E" which was practically silent after initial 20second whiz when you turned it on.
I have quite large hands, so it feels too small, LB & RB now feel cumbersome and the triggers feel too close together for my banana hands where as the 360 was perfect! Also the new sticks feel too small.
Do like the new D-pad, marked improvement but so far I am less than impressed!

Oh and yeah I think its the new menu, I guess it will take getting used to but I just can't fathom why they have laied it out like they have, seems very counter intuitive.
