I've never been one for small dogs, I've always had shepards or labs.

But he looks like a decent little dog, are they expensive?

Do you find it big enough to spend the weekend in or is it a bit cramped ?

Dog looks cool, I was working for someone last week who had a pug crossed with a beagle. He looked like a puppy boxer !

It is cramped, hence the awning and I'm also looking into having a pop-top fitted which will make it feel so much more spacious as I'll be able to stand!

The main issue is floor space when the bed is down, its quite limited but thankfully when the bed is out there loads of space underneath for bags etc.

A LWB version would offer a little more floor space but at the expense of being a bitch to park!

I've also been looking at this:

It uses the tail-gate as support so its possible to use it with no guy-ropes or poles (if you don't want the back open)..

A lwb is hardly a lorry My Lwb is only marginally longer than our old Vectra estate !

The awning looks good, are the pop tops just to give more head room ? I've seen a picture of some with sleeping space on the roof

I'd defo have the option bed too!

Yeah the LWB is only 30-40 inches longer BUT its already tight as hell getting this one on the drive and we're not interested in the whole "park up on a site and stay there" type holidays so the closer it is to the size ofa large car the easier it is to park up in little villages or parallel park etc.

The thing that does piss me off is the width of the doors!

Brackets arrived for the awning yesterday so fitted it up last night.. absolute doddle with the proper brackets, although it suggests that they are Sikaflex bonded to the roof edge I haven't done it yet..

We've been away in the camper the past 3 weekends so this weekend has been the first time I've had a chance to properly tinker and get it cleaned.

After a quick wash at the local Polish car wash I gave it a polish, seal and wax which is the first time I've been bothered to polish/wax a car for bloody years!

I then got on with converting the main cupboard doors to tambour roller doors which is not only far more practical, it looks so much better to (well I think so anyway!).

Nice one. Have you seen the Vango awnings?

I spent a while walking round the camp site this weekend with the boy checking out tents. Quite a few T5's parked up against them.

Any plans for the bumpers etc? The sportline ones with the add ons look quite nice.

To put things into perspective, the Evo motion units with all the extra bits wpi;d have been around 1,500 so spending 150 on a pair of doors doesn't seem that bad

Needs a chessboard floor.

Looks good though, I'd have one if I wasn't tight enough to spend that money on a van
